As soon as a product is back in stock, waiting subscribers are notified. Variable products are handled: a customer subscribes to a precise combination (size, colour) and is only notified when that exact variation returns.

Email Notifications (Resend or WordPress)

• Description: Back-in-stock notifications are sent via Resend (if you configure your key) or via WordPress's native sending system (wp_mail) as a fallback. The template uses variables ({product_name}, {product_url}, {product_price}) for a clear, actionable message, with no sending quota imposed by AIFORYA.

Smart Restock Prioritisation + AI Synthesis

• Description: A deterministic, transparent score ranks your stockouts by crossing demand × value × margin (the product cost is read from WooCommerce's "Cost of Goods" metadata). On that basis, the AI produces a synthesis and recommended actions, cached for 12 h to limit calls.
• Concrete benefit: You know what to restock first — not by intuition, but on an explicit score you can audit, complemented by an actionable AI reading.

• Description: For an out-of-stock product, the AI suggests two to three alternatives (name + reason), drawing on real context — catalogue categories and prices. Suggestions are viewable in the admin Products tab.

Roadmap

True to our transparency principle, here is what is not yet fully functional in the current version and what we're working on. We prefer to state it clearly rather than sell it as done.

• Visitor-facing capture form: the subscription form displays on the product page, but its interactive assets (JavaScript / CSS) are being finalised. Collecting emails directly from the storefront is the next priority update. In the meantime, subscriber management and notification operate from the admin.
• AI restock-date prediction: the engine exists, but relies on a stock history whose feeding is being fixed. This prediction will be activated once the history is reliable.
• Precise sale-to-notification attribution: tracking "this customer bought after being notified" is not yet reliable (the notification timestamp isn't systematically recorded). We therefore don't present it as a measured metric.
• SMS notifications (Twilio): the integration is present but neutralised by a settings inconsistency; it will be re-enabled in a future version.
• Additional AI providers: the shared AI client handles several model families; exposing additional providers (including Google) in the settings is progressive.

2. Can I cancel my subscription anytime? Yes. Subscriptions are commitment-free and can be cancelled from your client area. The extension keeps working until the end of your current billing period.

3. How does the BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) model work? You insert your own API keys into the extension's settings. AI calls (and email sending via Resend) are made directly from your WordPress server to the provider, with your keys. Total cost transparency, better privacy: your data never transits through AIFORYA.

4. What are the real AI costs? Low. Restock Alerts only calls the AI on occasional actions (prioritisation, alternatives, report synthesis), not on every email. For most stores, the monthly bill from the AI provider is between €2 and €6.

5. Are my data stored by AIFORYA? No. All your data (subscribers, products, statistics) stay on your WordPress server. Only non-identifying data required for an occasional analysis is sent to the AI provider via your key.

6. Is the extension compatible with Elementor / Divi / Breakdance? Yes. AIFORYA Restock Alerts integrates natively with WooCommerce, respecting WordPress standards. It is therefore independent of your theme or page builder.

12. How are restocks prioritised? By a deterministic score crossing demand (number of waiting subscribers), price and margin (product cost read from "Cost of Goods" metadata). It's not a black box: the score is explicit and auditable. The AI then produces an actionable synthesis, cached.

13. Are the AI functions really operational? Yes — and we only sell what is. Three AI functions are wired today: prioritisation (synthesis and recommended actions), alternative product suggestions and monthly report synthesis. The restock-date prediction is in our roadmap: we'd rather announce it than present it as active.

14. How are emails sent, and how do you avoid spam? Notifications go out via Resend (recommended for deliverability) or, as a fallback, via WordPress's native sending system. For optimal deliverability, using a transactional sending service like Resend is advised.
