Google Analytics 4 on WordPress: the free AIFORYA extension
Add Google Analytics 4 tracking to your WordPress site with your measurement ID. Free extension, admin exclusion and anonymized IP.

Install Google Analytics 4 on WordPress in a single field.
AIFORYA Analytics inserts the official Google Analytics 4 tag (gtag.js) into your site's pages from your own measurement ID. One-field setup, automatic exclusion of administrators and IP anonymization enabled by default. All of it free, with no time limit and no API key.
- Free and simple: published on WordPress.org, a one-field setup.
- Your data, your account: the extension inserts Google's tag with your ID; no data passes through the author.
- Respectful by default: administrator exclusion and IP anonymization enabled from the start.
Why this extension rather than a manual copy-paste?
Adding Google Analytics 4 to WordPress "by hand" means pasting a script into the theme header, at the risk of losing it with every update, counting your own visits, and forgetting privacy best practices. AIFORYA Analytics does this job cleanly: you enter your measurement ID, the extension inserts the official tag in the right place, excludes your administrator visits, and anonymizes the IP address.
In full transparency: this extension activates Google Analytics tracking. Once your ID is entered, the gtag.js script is loaded from Google's servers and your visitors' browsing data is sent to Google Analytics, according to your own configuration. You therefore need your own Google Analytics 4 account, and you should check your information or consent obligations (for example the GDPR in Europe). The extension itself collects nothing for its author and requires no API key.
What the extension does
- Google Analytics 4 tag — insertion of the standard
gtag.jsscript into the site header when tracking is enabled and a valid ID is entered. - Your own ID — you enter your measurement ID in the format G-XXXXXXX. The older UA and GT formats are also recognized.
- Administrator exclusion — by default, your visits as a logged-in administrator are not counted.
- IP anonymization — enabled by default to strengthen visitor privacy.
- Asynchronous loading — Google's script is loaded without blocking how your pages display.
