Why duplicate a post?

Recreating content that follows a known pattern by hand — a series post, a listing, a recurring page — is slow and prone to omissions: a custom field not copied over, a missing category, an excerpt to redo. Duplication removes that risk: you start from a complete, faithful base and only change what matters.

The convenience is also in the details: a copy created as a draft by default saves you from publishing by mistake, a clear title suffix distinguishes the original from the copy, and the redirect after duplication takes you straight to where you want to work.

What the plugin does

Privacy

Settings are stored in your WordPress database and are never shared with a third party. Duplication works entirely without any network call: everything happens on your site. Only the optional Support and Reviews tabs can contact the AIFORYA Echo service, and only if you choose to send a message and with your explicit consent (a checkbox).

Install in 2 minutes

1. Download the plugin here (or install it from WordPress.org).
2. Activate it from the Plugins menu.
3. Open the AIFORYA Duplicate Post menu, then, in the Settings tab, choose the content types and the copy behavior.
4. In your list of posts or pages, click Duplicate under the item to copy.

That's all: your full copy appears as a draft, ready to be edited.
