Why not just re-import the file?

When a logo changes, a product photo is updated or a PDF is corrected, the reflex is to import a new file. The problem: WordPress assigns it a new address, and the old version stays displayed everywhere it was already used — posts, pages, templates, emails. You then have to hunt down every occurrence, which is time-consuming and error-prone.

Replacing the file "in place" solves the problem in one go: the address does not change, so everything that pointed to the old file automatically displays the new one. AIFORYA Replace a Media adds this missing capability to WordPress, with thumbnail regeneration and security safeguards.

What the plugin does

• One-click replacement — a "Replace the file" box appears on the detail screen of each media.

Privacy and technical honesty

Replacing files and regenerating thumbnails happen entirely on your server, with no network call. Only an optional Support/Review tab can, on your initiative and after explicit consent, transmit a message to the AIFORYA service. No data is sent without a voluntary action on your part.

3. Open a media from the library in detail view, use the Replace the file box, choose the file and mode, then confirm.
