WordPress News: the free AIFORYA plugin
Publish and display your WordPress news: dedicated post type, block, shortcode, widget, scrolling ticker and NewsArticle structured data. Free, local, no

Publish your news in a dedicated space, separate from your blog.
AIFORYA News adds a complete "News" space to your site to publish, organize and highlight your information. All local, with no configuration, no external service and no API key - and free, with no time limit.
- Free and complete: published on WordPress.org, no crippled features.
- Local: the core of the plugin makes no network calls.
- Lightweight: scrolling ticker in native CSS/JS, with no external library that would slow down your site.
Why a separate "News" space?
Mixing your press releases, announcements and in-depth articles into the same post feed blurs your message: readers can no longer tell what's recent information and what's reference content. A dedicated post type solves this problem. Your news has its own archive, its own categories, its own sorting by date - and, above all, it can be highlighted wherever you want without polluting your blog.
As a bonus, each full-page news item automatically emits NewsArticle markup (schema.org). That's the signal search engines look for to identify and promote dated information.
What the plugin does
- Dedicated post type - a "News" space separate from your posts, with title, content, image, date and a "source" field.
- News categories - a dedicated taxonomy to classify and filter your news.
- Gutenberg blocks - "Latest News" and "News Ticker", with visual settings (number, category, layout).
- Shortcodes -
[aiforya_news](list: number, category, layout) and[aiforya_news_ticker](scrolling ticker). - Widget - "Latest News" in any widget area.
- Scrolling ticker - a horizontal feed in native CSS and JavaScript, with no external library. Adjustable speed, pause on hover, respects "prefers-reduced-motion".
- Archive and sorting by date - a dedicated archive for your news, sorted by publication date.
- Structured data - schema.org
NewsArticlemarkup (JSON-LD) automatically added to each full-page news item.
